I don't know about you but when I think of March, I think of Spring, light pastel colours, greenery, and flowers. The first project is something I have wanted to scrapbook for the last year. It's a picture taken of our Granddaughter when she was only a week old. My middle daughter took these pictures of her tiny feet. She is almost two years old now and has a fascination with taking her "sockies" off and playing with her toes. I chose these pictures because it makes me happy every time I look at it.

 Here are the cards:

Lots of layering and "fussy cutting" but then I find this activity to be therapeutic!

I love Valentines's Day and everything it represents. My husband and I don't exchange gifts or cards but he usually treats me to a special dinner or vacation as this is also my birthday month!
I feel especially blessed with a granddaughter to add to our Valentine's day traditions. I always make or buy a treat for my three adult daughters which include "naughty underwear" but guess I will have to adjust this slightly this year!
Here is the card I made for each of my daughters. I used my new Cricut Explorer to cut it out and all Close to My Heart paper(Yule Tide- Yes this paper is very versatile and can be used for other themes)  I stamped the inside with the January Stamp Of the Month

Here is another card I made using a Stamp Set called " Brushtrokes Flair". I love the effect of watercolour using this stamp set. Hearts were cut with Canary,Hollyhock and Pear cardstock. Inks used were Black, canary, pear, hollyhock . The sentiment was stamped using the January Stamp of the month

I also did a layout of my Granddaughter and her best friend who is a little shy. They were born three days apart. Aren't they a cute couple? I used  the HeartStrings Paper and January Stamp of the Month,I stamped Brushstrokes Flair behind the hearts to give them some depth for this layout and also used the Cricut Explorer to cut the layout.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is the very talented "Christine Robertson of " Chris Creative life ".

 Here we go!

I really love all of the projects that could utilize this stamp,i.e. wedding,Valentine's day, love, anniversary etc.

Right away I knew it would be a unique touch to a double page layout I have been creating over the last few days. The pictures were taken 6 months ago, shortly before my grandaughter turned one. After she had a taste of a cupcake, she smeared it all over her face and body and so she had a small tub bath to clean up. She loves her baths and water in general. She also loves having her picture taken!

For this double page layout I used the newly released Heartstrings Paper package, complements and assortment from our new Seasonal Expressions book. I also added our new white glitter tape, which really pops on the pages. Inks used are cranberry, lagoon and black ink. For the large hearts, curly photomaps I used Artbooking and Artiste Cricut cartridges. I love how this all came together. Please leave me a comment as I really appreciate you taking the time to do so!
