For my project this month I chose to recreate a layout on page 122 of the Close to My Heart Spring Idea book.
My Granddaughter turned one this month and we just finished celebrating her birthday. My daughter gave me  a few photos to use and as soon as I saw this layout I found the perfect match.

I used the following products:
White daisy cardtock
Slate twine
Silver sparkle paper
Pink flamingo dots
Purple and Pink Glitter gems
Clear Rhinestones
Slate cardstock
Olive cardstock
Wood Initial(from Michael's)
The overlay/title was cut from page 84 of Artbooking
I love the way this turned out. Did you know that this month you can get this cartridge free when you sign up  as a consultant for $99.00? Contact your local consultant for more details but hurry as the special only lasts this month of April !

Sunshine and warm Breezes

Welcome to the Sunshine and Warm breezes Team Brae'r blog hop. If you have come from Brae's blog then you are in the right place.
Well this was a blog hop that I have look forward to as I have been lucky enough to get away a few times to some sunny spots. However I needed some bright colours to work with to keep me happy !

My grand daughter will be turning one next month and we all thought the Ladybug theme would go so well for her birthday.
Here are the birthday invitations I created using my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge,cardstock.\,black glitter paper, Close to My heart Circle punch, floral wire and googly eyes from the dollar store.

The next two  projects are pages I created for my Calendar club. The March calendar has some retired patterned paper( Game On) and current cardstock.(sweet leaf). I used the Artbooking cartridge for the overlay at the bottom and shamrock near the picture. I needed to have some green in my life right now as there sure is no sign of it here in my town,Newmarket in Ontario. Winter is very present !
The April Calendar makes use of Sarita/Laughing Lola paper which will be retiring at the end of this Idea book( July 31st.)
I love these colours as they remind me of Easter. I used Art Philosophy for the shape background and pennant flags.
Hope you enjoyed looking at these.

Your next stop is the very creative Lucy of Creative Expressions. Please leave a comment before you go!

If you came from our  very creative " Sheri of "  sheri says-just scrap it."  then you are in the right place!

For my project I chose to explore the Easter themed boxes that are on the Artiste -Close to My Heart Cricut cartridge.
The boxes are listed on page 73 of the Artiste booklet and the picture instructions are listed in the assembly instruction booklet that comes with the cartridge.
For the bunny box no glue or adhesive is required ! I decorated it with a candy symbol and Easter title from the Artbooking cartridge. I dabbed a little of our silver glitter gel(which is now retired-boo hoo)

The Easter basket was decorated with a bow from page 66 of the Artiste cartridge.I used a retired Silver brad and placed some flamingo dots on the brad to make it pop.
The paper I used is Laughing Lola which will be retiring at the end of this Spring catalog. Makes a nice choice for these Purple themed boxes. The small boxes are also from Artiste.-page 45. I used Cotton Candy card stock and stamped the Easter egg images from a retired Easter stamp set.
These boxes are now going to be on my kitchen table which needed a shot of spring!
