 So here we go.

You may be a little confused about this month's stamp of the month as it was not listed in the Annual Inspirations book. Close to My Heart will be releasing the new book on September 1st. As well we have an additional mini catalog called Holiday inspirations and it too will be released at the same time! The Stamps of the Month will be listed in this new mini catalog.
You will also notice that this month we are featuring a new paper package called "Zoe"!

Both of these products are available to customers this month as well as the newly released Cricut cartridge called Artistry".

I have used all three products in my project(s) this month.

My order came in last night a few hours before I was to leave for the cottage. I usually like to take some time planning out but I have to say the new Zoe paper,Artistry Cartridge and the August stamp of the month go well together like well matched spouses in a marriage ! So I made up this card for some friends who are getting married this month. The paper is all Zoe ! I used black card stock for the card base.I used Coral sequins from the Seasonal Expressions 2 book and the white daisy is from the Brushed assortment in the annual catalog. Something borrowed.....

These new products can all be purchased this month! Isn't that great? A lilies teaser before the new Annual Inspirations book comes out!

                                                        Zoe Assortment

I cut out the large daisy based badge and the background frames for the Stamp of the month shapes using Cricut Artistry.

The inside of the card uses the Zoe assortment- Love lots and the frame and more Coral sequins. I think my friends will like it.

 So here we go.
This month I am getting caught up with some much needed scrapbooking. I have been working full time and looked so forward to getting back to what I love to do! The paper pack is now retired 'HopScotch" from the Season expressions 1 book. I knew it would go so well with my granddaughter;s birthday pics. The stamp set just finishes off what I feel about her right now and her life moving forward. Yes "life" is about to happen and she enters her third year. I am so enjoying her conversations and she talks constantly, always asking questions.

 So here we go.
When the weather gets got, I scream for Ice Cream ! One of my favourite treats. I used the layout on page 22 of the Annual inspirations catalog as inspiration. That's the great things about this catalog. So many great layout to "scrap lift" !!!!
Here's a different twist,Ice cream in the bathtub ! It's a soap that squirts into a toy ice-cream cone. Great way to get kids washing themselves. My granddaughter sure had fun playing in her bath with this new toy!
Here is a close up of parts of the layout

Here are some samples of artwork from the creative people at Close To My Heart.

Here we go!

I love this stamp set. It is so versatile! The sentiments can be used on a scrapbook layout or a card.
I am in the process of using this stamp set on one of my granddaughter;s layouts but haven't finished it quite yet however I wanted to show folks how this stamp set could be used on cards.
I made 4 different cards. So here they are;

On this card I used a number of expressions stamped in Champagne for a tone on tone look and the 'You and Me' was stamped with Close to My Heart black archival ink. I love the look and it's such a simple card. I cut the card using Art Philosophy.

On the next card I used the square stamp with the mini chevrons to create my own background. I sued  Close To My Heart :Champagne ,saddle and honey ink. The metal Artisan studs(Z1816) are also from Close to My Heart. I thought this card could be a male themed card.

On the third card I used one of the mini circle lined stamps and did random stamping on the card front using Close to My Heart Pear,Honey and smoothie for the back ground. I used the Close to My Heart scallop punch for the middle border and edged it with  Close to my Heart -green glitter paper. I used the happy Birthday sentiment from another of our Stamp sets called ,Your own kind of wonderful D1627. Again I stamped the Date in  Close to My Heart black Archival ink to make it stand out.

Foe the last card I used the Mini Flag to create a small banner across the top,  Close to My Heart Glacier extra thick twine Z3039,Coral Reef sequins(love these!)Z3042, Shimmer Trim- Teal( CTMH),Pear cardstock. Yes stamped the You and Me in Black Archival ink.

Here we go!

I love this stamp set. A number of my customers have been "itching" to get this stamp. I usually use the Stamp of the Month on my Scrapbook pages but wanted to to do something a little different by trying out some "wet embossing" and creating a variety of cards. I used up scraps of paper left over from a number of layouts completed over the last few months. Great way to use the "stash" of little pieces of card stock and patterned paper.
