If you came from " Brae " ~of " The Braer" then you are in the right place!

I really love Christmas and this year's  Close to My heart mini  holiday guide is just what I was looking for. I made two projects.

The first one is the "countdown to happiness" or Advent calendar on page 3 of the holiday guide.

The frame is actually from the  Close to My Heart Autumn Idea book.  Page 71- Z1880 - $26.95
I used the Magical Days stamps from the holiday guide pg 2-D1552 $17.95

I cut the little boxes at 1 1/4 inches using the Artiste cartridge - page 80 -3d object and the circles were cut with art philosophy pg 61 at 1/14 inches.
Inks used were Topiary and Ruby.

I stuffed the bags with tissue to make  them look like gift bags.
I embellished with Ruby chevron ribbon Z1846-$6.95 and made the rosette out of burlap ribbon-Z1760 -$ 7.95 and used red glitz glitter gel on the edges. Z1771. $2.75
Used Sparkle and shine assortment also to embellish Z1860 $5.95.

This is going to my daughter and son-in-Law's  home to help our grandaughter celebrate her very first Christmas. After Christmas the boxes can be removed and pictures can be clipped to the wires that run across the frame. It's the gift that keeps on giving!
Interested I. Learning how to make this project? Contact me for a workshop! ctaggio72@rogers.com

My second project is the Season's Tweetings Gift bag set on page 11- D1913.
It  only took me 20 minutes to stamp and color the tags.
This cute set comes with 6 gift bags, 9 Die-cut tags and  a C-size stamp set)
All for 14.95 ! Wow. All ready for my homemade fudge for gifties !!!
